Our Events

The Chamber organises frequent networking events, providing a platform for local businesses and professionals to engage in informal discussions on shared interests. These gatherings aim to support the exploration and strengthening of local business connections. These are Romsey Brew & Business held at Romsey Town Hall and the all-new Cross-Chamber Connections events.

In addition we also run:

  • Monthly ‘First Friday’ social held at rotating local bars, pubs and restaurants.
  • Summer Drinks Party
  • Romsey Food Fair
  • Saving Santa and the Romsey Reindeer Trail

Non-members wishing to find out more about the Chamber and meet Chamber representatives are welcome to attend our events prior to joining.

If you have any events which you would like publicised here then get in touch and we’ll consider including them.

The Summer Drinks Party

2023 saw the launch of our new Summer Drinks Party at Romsey Town Hall.

Celebrating a great year of local business in and around Romsey, we came together to enjoy a party atmosphere with delicious canapés. The first drink was on us! This event is open to non-members and members.

This event showcased three of Romsey’s fabulous hospitality venues who recreated their bars and joined together to make this event brilliant – Thank you to Flack’s Manor brewery, the Cocky Anchor and Cork & Bean

Follow us on facebook and instagram for this years date, we can’t wait to party with you again!

Romsey Food Fair

Discover a feast of foods and flavours to savour with stalls spread through the town.

The new Romsey Chamber committee have taken the Romsey Food Fair and given it a new lease of life. RFF23 was a great success and we plan to go bigger and better this year by increasing the amount of stalls and introducing seating areas for you to enjoy the delights of the fair. All you need to do is decide which street food speciality you’re going to tuck into, find a spot and watch the world go by.

We are so excited to bring together a moveable feast of fantastic local and regional producers and suppliers in one glorious, gastronomic event. Come and savour a showcase of delicious food and drink. Discover and delight in the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of this fabulous free event, and learn about the passion that drives these local and regional businesses.

This years event will be held on Sunday 1st September from 10-4pm with more info coming soon. Follow us on facebook and instagram for regular updates or email admin@romseyfoodfair.co.uk for enquiries.

Saving Santa and the Romsey Reindeer Trail

Once again Santa needed to be saved from Romsey Town Hall.

This time we decided to evolve this already popular event where the local fire brigade risk their lives saving Santa by adding a reindeer trail. Many local shops and businesses joined in the fun by having a reindeer in their window as part of the trail. We also introduced local street food and drink suppliers, encouraged local shops to stay open for a late night shopping, added few stalls from the Markers Market with Christmas gifts, fabulous face-painting, Romsey Round Table’s sleigh to create some wonderful photographs, Mountbatten School Band, the Ukalele band and the fabulous Kim G!

This year’s event will be held on Friday 6th December 2024 with more info coming soon. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for event updates.

Special thanks to Doug Marsh, Philip Clewer and Terence Martin Jamieson from Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club for venturing out in the cold to capture this event. We are very grateful for your help.
