The Mortgage Stop is a family run firm based in the lovely town of Romsey. As a mortgage & protection adviser we offer impartial advice on mortgage products from across the whole of the market.  As well as advice for first time buyers & remortgaging, we also help contractors & self-employed/business owners or those looking at buy to let properties.

I’m Rita and I set up The Mortgage Stop to allow me to work directly with clients and their families to design solutions tailored to their individual circumstances.  As well as over 20 years experience in the industry in organisations such as HSBC, The Post Office & most recently St James Place I am also qualified to advise on later life lending solutions such as Equity Release.  We also provide advice on income protection insurance, life insurance, critical illness cover and general insurance.
