Pamper My Paws

I started my career in dog grooming over 10 years ago. Around 2 years into my career I went to my first dog grooming competition and caught the bug! I’ve since gone on to compete regularly in the “Pure breed scissor” class.

My specialty breed is the Kerry blue terrier. Over the last 8 years I’ve made my way up through the divisions and am now in the Champion division which is the highest available.

I love being able to spend my days surrounded by wonderful dogs and making them happy and comfortable (as well as gorgeous!) is the icing on the cake. I currently have Kenzie completing her apprenticeship and I hope she will become a permanent member of our team. We have recently relocated from Shirley to West Wellow which has been stressful but it’s lovely being able to work in such a beautiful area.

After attending the Solos and start ups event which was organised by Romsey Chamber, I decided to sign up, as in our previous location we had a very good connection to other local businesses and enjoyed making an impact in the community.

Since the move I have missed the feeling of community as I’m yet to meet many others who run local businesses. I felt the chamber was a great way to network and form those relationships.
